The St. Andrew’s Episcopal Academy Athletics Program encompasses the entire St. Andrew’s community, forging a greater awareness of health, self-esteem, sportsmanship, and school spirit.
St. Andrew’s is part of the Treasure Coast Athletic Association, in which interscholastic competition begins in Middle School. Ninety-five percent of Middle School students participate in the athletics program in some way, either by joining a sports team or becoming a manager for a team; everyone enjoys the opportunity to contribute their talents and strengths. Students learn how to play and work as a team on and off the field, assert leadership skills, dedicate themselves to a purpose, and develop problem-solving strategies.
A diverse range of sports and teams are available for Middle School students, including soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, flag football, softball, and cheerleading.
Additionally, students in Lower School benefit from an intramurals program which exposes them to a number of different sports such as basketball, soccer, badminton, and lacrosse. Intramurals are offered after school, as well as during summer camps.
