ADMINISTRATION
Mandy Doss is the Head of Academy at St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy. She is a 7th-generation native Floridian and was born and raised on the Treasure Coast. Mrs. Doss is an Episcopalian and is also a proud member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Doss earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Marketing and Sales Management from Florida Atlantic University in 2000. In 2002, she returned to school to pursue a career in education and received her ESOL endorsement, as well as her professional teaching certificate, through the Florida Department of Education. Professionally, she has been involved in both public and private education for the past 22 years.
Mrs. Doss has served at St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy since 2008 in a variety of roles, which include teaching, academic support, admissions, and administration. What she enjoys most about working at St. Andrew’s is the strong sense of community that exists between the staff, students, and families. She is deeply committed to maintaining a safe, positive, and spiritual environment that instills a lifelong love of learning in the children.
Charlie Bridge is the Deputy Head of Academy and has been employed at St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy since 2018. As part of his administrative duties, he works closely with the Head of Academy regarding all daily operations. He also manages facilities, directs athletics, and oversees the student and Academy community service initiatives. Mr. Bridge received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Youth and Family Studies from Indian River State College.
Prior to joining St. Andrew’s, Mr. Bridge spent nine years at SUNY Jefferson, a college located in New York, primarily as the head coach of both the men’s basketball and women’s softball teams, in addition to other duties within the athletic department. During his coaching career, he was recognized as both the Mid-State Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball and Women’s Softball Coach of the Year. His men’s basketball team once climbed as high as #7 in the country and his women’s softball team ascended the ranks to #16 in the country. Mr. Bridge is an inductee of Sackets Harbor Centrals Athletic Hall of Fame, his alma mater, for not only his standout athletic career, but also in leaving a legacy for current student-athletes to follow by demonstrating a commitment to others.
Outside of work, Mr. Bridge is an avid volunteer and advocate for others. He has worked closely with The Enough Project, a non-profit focused on genocide and mass atrocity prevention, including spending time on Capitol Hill lobbying for the passing of important legislation in this field. As a volunteer, he spent a summer living in Ghana helping DUNK-Developing Unity Nurturing Knowledge, an organization that uses basketball as a draw to strengthen education and life skills of youth in need. In the fall of 2023, Mr. Bridge was recognized by Save Our Children with their Fathers Honoring Fathers Award, for his impact as a father figure to youth and young adults in St. Lucie County. He also currently serves on the Board for the Treasure Coast Youth Sailing Foundation as Vice President.
Tiffany Nixon is the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Human Resources for St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy. A lifelong resident of St. Lucie County, Mrs. Nixon graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management from Indian River State College.
Mrs. Nixon enrolled her son in Pre-K at St. Andrew’s in 2016 and quickly decided he will remain at the Academy until he graduates with the class of 2031. She became an active volunteer, serving as a homeroom parent and serving as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees prior to joining the Academy as an employee in 2021.
Mrs. Nixon brings 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, previously holding positions in leadership, wealth management, commercial banking, and lending. She is a 3-time recipient of the Gallup Great Workplace Award, measured by peak employee and client engagement. Mrs. Nixon gained vast experience strategically analyzing Profit and Loss performance and shifting priorities to improve performance. She utilized her series 7 and 66 investment advisory licenses working closely with consumer and commercial clients to ensure asset protection and diversification.
In Mrs. Nixon’s role as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Human Resources, she is responsible for working with Administration, Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, and families. She handles accounts receivable and payable, reconciliations, collections, student scholarships and financial aid, audits, budgets, payroll, compliance, operational logistics, and human resources. In addition to crunching numbers, you will also see Mrs. Nixon working carline at the lower school.
When Mrs. Nixon is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, and relaxing in the pool.
LEADERSHIP
John Causby is the IT Administrator who oversees all the technological needs at St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy. Mr. Causby has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, with seven of those years here at the Academy. He graduated with a degree in Computer Technology from Keiser University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He is CompTIA A+ certified and has certifications from Microsoft and Dell. Before joining St. Andrew's, Mr. Causby worked in various IT positions in the private and public sectors throughout South Florida. As the IT Administrator for St. Andrew's, his mission is to support technological advances to allow students and faculty to reap the benefits of modern IT developments.

Barbie Miranda joined our SAEA family in March of 2022. She has over 10 years of experience in the education setting. Barbie earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Florida International University.
Before joining St. Andrew’s she worked in a charter school setting where she held the position of Activities Director for 8 years. While working at the charter school, she also coached cheerleading at the elementary level and was a ballet instructor for the primary grades.
Aleshia Howard is currently a Middle School Math and Leadership Teacher with five years of in classroom instructional experience. She has two years of experience providing enrichment and academic support services to help students excel.
She currently holds an MBA in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources as well as a state teaching certification in Business for grades 6-12.
As a teacher, she believes the best way to make a significant impact in the life of a child is to cultivate a healthy relationship with the parent or the child’s family unit.
Susan Tedder has been a proud staff member at St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy for over 12 years. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of education, most of which has been in the elementary grade levels (2nd-6th grade).
Mrs. Tedder is a Florida native and earned her master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida…Go Gators! She has held a Professional Educator’s Certificate through the Florida Department of Education since 2000 and is certified to teach grades 1-6.
Mrs. Tedder has been happily married for over 20 years and is blessed with two amazing teenagers, who both attended St. Andrew’s. Some of her favorite pastimes are spending time and camping with her family, attending tailgates and games for the Florida Gators, and hiking in the North Carolina mountains.
