Mrs. Doss has served at St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy since 2008 in a variety of roles, which include teaching, academic support, admissions, and administration. Charlie Bridge is the Deputy Head of Academy and has been employed at St. Andrew's Episcopal Academy since 2018. As part of his administrative duties, he works closely with the Head of Academy regarding all daily operations. He also manages facilities, directs athletics, and oversees the student and Academy community service initiatives. Mr. Bridge received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services with a concentration in Youth and Family Studies from Indian River State College.
Prior to joining St. Andrew’s, Mr. Bridge spent nine years at SUNY Jefferson, a college located in New York, primarily as the head coach of both the men’s basketball and women’s softball teams, in addition to other duties within the athletic department. During his coaching career, he was recognized as both the Mid-State Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball and Women’s Softball Coach of the Year. His men’s basketball team once climbed as high as #7 in the country and his women’s softball team ascended the ranks to #16 in the country. Mr. Bridge is an inductee of Sackets Harbor Centrals Athletic Hall of Fame, his alma mater, for not only his standout athletic career, but also in leaving a legacy for current student-athletes to follow by demonstrating a commitment to others.
Outside of work, Mr. Bridge is an avid volunteer and advocate for others. He has worked closely with The Enough Project, a non-profit focused on genocide and mass atrocity prevention, including spending time on Capitol Hill lobbying for the passing of important legislation in this field. As a volunteer, he spent a summer living in Ghana helping DUNK-Developing Unity Nurturing Knowledge, an organization that uses basketball as a draw to strengthen education and life skills of youth in need. In the fall of 2023, Mr. Bridge was recognized by Save Our Children with their Fathers Honoring Fathers Award, for his impact as a father figure to youth and young adults in St. Lucie County. He also currently serves on the Board for the Treasure Coast Youth Sailing Foundation as Vice President.
